NI Water has extended the deadline for suppliers interested in a £multi-million tender for leak detection services by a further two weeks.

The latest extension to the Port of Felixstowe, the UK’s largest container port, has been officially opened - the £34 million project to extend the port’s 9th berth by 190m was completed by VolkerStevin and Boskalis Westminster under a joint venture (VSBW).

Yorkshire Water has signed up winter maintenance firm Ice Watch in a deal worth £500,000 to carry out gritting and snow clearing services to over 120 of its top operational sites across the region.

Thames Water has awarded a contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of various data loggers in the Thames Water region worth up to £10 million to Wales-based firm HWM-Water Ltd.

Southern Water has gone out to tender with a 5 year contract for sand filter maintenance  work worth an estimated £2 million.

The Environment Agency has gone out to tender for a replacement forecasting system, also referred to as the Future Flood Forecasting System (FFFS), potentially worth up to £8 million.

United Utilities has gone out to tender with a contract for a 32 kilometer water mains between  Bridge End and the Williams Gate Raw Water Aqueduct potentially worth up to £65 million.

Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender for a Professional Services Framework contract during the PC15 investment period worth up to an estimated £140 million.

United Utilities has gone out to tender with a major water mains construction contract worth up to £40 million.

nomenca UnitedUtilitiesImg1Specialist MEICA contractor Nomenca Limited, part of the NM Group, has been awarded a five year framework agreement by United Utilities to supply chemical dosing equipment for its treatment works across the whole of the North West region.
