Five companies have won a place on Northern Ireland Water’s £10 million framework contract for screening and associated conditioning plant and equipment.
Equipment the suppliers will required to provide across the entire geographical region of Northern Ireland includes:
- individual coarse screens,
- individual fine screens,
- overflow screens,
- screenings handling equipment,
- package inlet works,
- grit removal and treatment systems,
- package grit plant.
The companies must be able to design, supply, deliver, install (including the necessary process and control panels, if required) commission and, where necessary, provide spares, consumables and maintenance of all the equipment listed above.
Companies winning places on the contract, which is divided into Lots, are CDEnviro, Ovivo, Enisca, Haigh Engineering, Hydrok UK Ltd and Huber Technology.
The initial contract will run for two years with a further one year extension option.
