Anglian Water is seeking supply chain input via an early market engagement exercise to explore an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Works Management Solution.

The water company says the aim of the exercise is to help it better understand the market landscape, including the capabilities, service features, implementation approaches, delivery models and commercial options available to support Anglian Water’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Works Management Solutions requirements.
The insights gained will inform the utiity’s strategy to secure a commercially robust, scalable solution that aligns with both its regulatory duties and broader business outcomes.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 September 2028 to 3 September 2030.
Engagement deadline is 2 September 2026. Estimated publication date of a formal tender notice is currently 2 September 2027
Scope of the engagement includes solutions capable of supporting operational planning, scheduling, contractor and fleet management, biosolids movements, compliance, reporting, integrations, and wider works management activities. The information gathered will be used to inform future requirements, procurement strategy, and route-to-market decisions.
The engagement is being conducted via the Ariba portal.
Supplier clarification questions should be submitted via the Ariba messaging function - clarifications will be reviewed and responded to through the Ariba portal only. To ensure transparency and equal treatment, responses will be shared with all participating suppliers through a Q&A log where appropriate.
