Yorkshire Water has awarded an AMP8 framework contract for actuators supply and maintenance.

The framework covers the supply of actuators and the maintenance of new and existing assets across Yorkshire Water's estate, including:
- Supply of standard and specialist actuators, including ATEX-rated units
- Reactive repairs and replacement
- Compliance with Yorkshire Water specifications
- Capability to supply and repair ATEX rated actuators
- Repair and test of actuators in-house (including torque testing)
- Engineering support for obsolete actuators, including reverse engineering
- Workshop repair capabilities and OEM/non-OEM part production
- Availability to offer valve repair and replacement services
- Service coverage across all Yorkshire Water sites
The contract was tendered by the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) scheme which provides a common system for subscribing utility entities to select suppliers for invitation to participate in regulated procurement procedures.
