Anglian Water is undertaking early market engagement in relation to the provision of works and services for River Restoration and Habitat Improvement.
The water company is seeking to better understand supplier capability, capacity and experience in delivering river restoration schemes and nature‑based solutions that enhance ecological outcomes.
Anglian Water is looking for information from suppliers on their approach to:
- design and construction of river restoration works
- habitat creation and improvement
- environmental mitigation
- long‑term sustainability, including experience of working within regulated environments and alongside key stakeholders such as the Environment Agency.
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 November 2028 to 31 October 2033.
Anglian Water is inviting interested suppliers to register on the Scanmarket portal to participate in the online event River Restoration & Habitat Improvement Market Engagement. Companies not already set up as a supplier in the Scanmarket system will need to register as a new supplier first.
Deadline to submit initial written responses to the market engagement is 1 May 2026.
