Scottish Water has awarded a framework contract for service fittings, collars and UP valves, including boundary boxes, couplings and adaptors, with an estimated value of £8 million.

The contract which had an estimated value of £8 million (ex VAT) when it was tendered in 2024, runs for an initial 4 year term with four further annual potential extension options.
The contract was tendered in the following six Lots:
Lot 1 Service Fittings (4 tenders received)
- Provision of Service Fittings for Universal Polyethylene Pipe
- PE Plastic Fittings for Service Pipes
Contracts were awarded to FPP Scotland Ltd, Aliaxis UK Ltd, Atlantic Plastics Ltd and R2M Ltd
Lot 2 Boundary Boxes (5 tenders received)
- All spare parts for Boundary Boxes
- Both metal and Plastic Lids
Contracts were awarded to Waterfit Ltd and Atlantic Plastics
Lot 3 Couplings, Adaptors and Under Pressure Tees
- Collars, Couplings and Flange Adaptors
- Repair Clamps
- Under Pressure Tees
- Mechanical Fittings and Flange Adaptors for the repair of PE
Lot 3 was a Nil Award
Lot 4 Studded Flange Adaptors (3 tenders received)
