Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a contract for legal services with an estimated value of £3.6 million (inc VAT).

Current estimated start and end ontract dates are 1 March 2026 to 29 February 2028 with a further three possible bi-annual extension options to 28 February 2034.
Interested organisations can only bid for and be awarded a maximum of a single Lot.
The contract is being tendered in the following Lots:
Lot 1. (£1.566 million inc VAT)
The provision of strategic advice on frequently highly complex issues across:
Regulation & Compliance, Procurement, PPP, Pensions, Environmental and Health & Safety, Corporate & Commercial, Employment and Litigation.
Lot 2. (£994,800 including VAT)
The provision of advice across:
Procurement, Environmental and Health & Safety, Corporate & Commercial, Employment, Litigation, Property & Planning, Regulation & Compliance, Pensions and PPP.
Lot 3. (£1. 039 million)
The provision of advice in relation to:
Public Liability Claims, Employer's Liability Claims, Environmental Liability Claims, Debt Recovery, Uninsured Loss Recovery, Defence & Prosecution of Criminal Offences, Environmental and Health & Safety and Lands Tribunal.
Deadline for submission of enquiries about the contract is 11:59pm on 15 September 2025 and deadline for submission of requests to participate is 11:59pm on 17 September 2025.
