Wessex Water has awarded an AMP8 contract for a non-household water efficiency partner.

The water company went out to tender to put a framework contract in place for a delivery partner to help it meet its regulatory target to reduce business demand by 2029-30.
Wessex Water’s intention is that the bulk of the demand savings it needs to achieve will come from a targeted programme of non-household premises visits to fit appropriate water saving devices and the identification and fix, wherever possible, of plumbing leaks on site.
Groundwork London has been awarded the contract – which will run for an initial term of three years - the framework agreement may be further extended for a period of up to 5 years.
The contract was tendered via the YTL Utilities (UK) Qualification System which covers all its subsidiaries
- Wessex Water Services Ltd, YTL Construction (UK) Ltd, YTL Infrastructure (UK) Ltd, YTL Plant and Fleet Solutions (UK) Ltd.
No information has been made available with regard to the value of the framework.
