Wrexham County Borough Council awards a framework contract for the maintenance of drainage assets worth an estimated £400,000 (ex VAT).

The Council anticipated procuring a wide range of works under the framework, including:
- Cleaning of piped drainage systems, linear drainage channel systems, combined drainage and kerb systems, hambers and gullies;
- CCTV survey of drainage systems;
- Planned maintenance on trunk roads;
- Emergency service.
The contract was tendered in the following two Lots – however, Lot 1 only has been awarded and Wrexham CBC did not progress with Lot 2.
- Lot 1 County Road network
- Lot 2 Trunk Road network
Lanes Group Ltd, Quest Waste Management Ltd and Wales Environmental Ltd have all been awarded contracts.
The three companies were among five firms who submitted tenders for the framework.
