United Utilities has concluded the process of awarding framework agreements for commercial assurance and audit, commercial and capital delivery services.

As part of its ongoing AMP8 Procurement Programme, United Utilities was looking to procure partners to provide essential audit and assurance activities and provide consultancy services including project and programme management. The framework will support United Utilities during the AMP8 and AMP9 programmes which will involve major capital investments in the North West region.
The company has appointed commercial partners that can provide a range of essential activities and consultancy services. The services will generally be programme-level and outcome-focused, with the commercial partner providing initiatives including programme and contract management reporting, provision of NEC Contract Management Software, training (e.g., NEC), risk and opportunity management, integrated risk and value management.
Framework agreements have been awarded for the following 3 consultancy Lots:

Lot 3 – Estimating (Number of tenders received: 5)

Duration of the framework is 10 years - an initial 5 years, with options to extend up to a maximum of 10 years.
