United Utilities has made an AMP8 direct contract award for a Risk Management Software Solution worth an estimated USD $785,150 (inc VAT).
Scope of the contract covers the provision of a SaaS software solution for risk management for a user base of approximately 500 users and the associated implementation services.
United Utilities has awarded the contract to United States-based firm Onspring Technologies LLC. The water company has made the direct award to a single supplier for technical reasons. United Utilities explained that the supplier had been identified as the only available supplier that can meet the technical needs of United Utilities for this solution in order to deliver its requirements for the AMP8 and AMP9 regulatory periods.
Estimated contract start and end dates are 7 June 2025 to 6 June 2030 – with the possibility to extend the agreement for a further five years until 6 June 2035 at a cost of USD $745,000 plus an inflationary increase
