Defra Group Commercial is seeking supply chain input on the provision of telematic equipment and data collection/monitoring services ahead of starting the procurement process at the end of June with a potential value of £1.2 million.

The current contract provides telematics equipment for around 1802 vehicles, covering a broad range of equipment and vehicle types. These report on a significant range of data that is used to monitor performance, increase safety, provide location features and more.
Defra is now inviting potential suppliers to complete a market sounding questionnaire to determine the level of interest in organisations in undertaking the future telematics service.
The aim of the questionnaire is to;
- provide further information to interested organisations about the project
- help the Agency determine if there is sufficient potential interest in bidding for the contract.
- understand the capabilities of organisations who may be interested in undertaking this role
- understand the technology and solutions available on the current market
Defra group Commercial (DgC) is part of Defra and is responsible for a £6 billion contracts pipeline with a team of circa 250 commercial professionals.
Interested suppliers who would like to receive the market questionnaire should email keeva.o' This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to request a copy.
