United Utilities has gone out to tender with an AMP7 framework contract for legal services worth an estimated £20 million.

The water company has issued a Request for Proposal and is looking to award three Framework Agreements to support the company in a wide range of areas, including:
- Construction
- Property
- Projects- Large Scale Infrastructure, including project finance and traditional design and build models
- Commercial contracts and outsourcing
- Public/Utilities Procurement
- General regulatory and utilities
- HR/ Employment
- Planning
- Environmental law
- Intellectual Property and Technology
United Utilities is looking to appoint up to three suppliers to the framework, which will run for an initial period of 5 years, with up to 5 further years extension options to align with two full AMP cycles.
