The Scope of Work includes all works predominantly associated with repair, rewind and overhaul of electric motors and for the repair of Variable Speed Drives.

  • Provision of re-engineered parts
  • Installation & removal of motors and associated equipment
  • Repair, reassembly and testing of motors
  • Testing of the motor and load testing facilities
  • Commissioning of equipment.

Variable Speed Drive repairs would include the following areas:

  • VSD repairs for 400kW
  • VSD inspections and reports
  • Repair, reassembly and testing of VSDs
  • Re-installation and testing of the VSDs

VSD original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) include ABB, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, Vatech, Heenan/FKI, Telemecanique, Siemens and Schneider and Vacon.

United Utilities would also be looking for the provision of product and technical support including spare parts availability.
