United Utilities has awarded a number of AMP7 contracts for its £45 million unsupported pump repairs framework.

The work and services to be provided under the contract cover the repair / overhaul of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps used on company sites throughout its operational area.
The successful suppliers will undertake the repair and refurbishment of pumps both on and off site United Utilities operational sites.
The utility was looking to appoint up to eight suppliers to the framework agreement, which was in tendered in the following two Lots in March 2021:
Lot 1: Submersible Pumps (£26.4 million)
Lot 2: Non-Submersible Pumps (£1 million)
The following companies have won places on the framework for Lots 1 and 2:
- Central Electrical Armature Winding Co Limited t/a Central Group
- Industrial Pumps Ltd
- Mersey Rewinds Ltd t/a M R Engineering Group
Arfon Rewinds Ltd T/A Arfon Engineering has also been awarded a contract for Lot 1 on the framework.
