Thames Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract for the supply of pipes and fittings worth an estimated £34 million in total.

The water company intends to award one or more Framework Agreements for the
supply of pipes and fittings and other associated equipment directly, or on its behalf by its
contractors.
The contract for the supply of products suitable for use in clean water and waste water applications is being tendered in six separate Lots:
- Lot 1 - Ductile Iron Pipes and Fittings - for installation within the clean water and waste water network£12,480,000
- Lot 2 - Polyethylene Pipes clean water and waste water network £11,680,000
- Lot 3 - Polyethylene Fittings clean water and waste water network £968,000
- Lot 4 - Polyethylene Barrier Pipe & Barrier Fittings - clean water network £6,256,000
- Lot 5 - Polyethylene Electrofusion Fittings clean water and waste water network £1,416,000
- Lot 6 - Concrete Pipes & Fittings for installation within waste water network £928,000
Any agreement awarded would be for an initial duration of 3 years, with options to extend annually up to a maximum overall term of 8 years.
Thames Water is looking to appoint up to six suppliers to the framework.
