Dwr Cymru Welsh Water has gone out to tender with a contract for road haulage transport services worth an estimated £8 million.

The contract covers the provision of planned and re-active tankering and haulage services for the delivery of potable water throughout Wales and Herefordshire area.
This includes provision of drivers and haulage for use in short term situations which DCC Welsh Water will be able to request at any time day or night to drive DCC and contractor vehicles.
The contract, which will run for three years, is being tendered in two separate Lots on a regional basis - Lot 1 covers South Wales and Lot 2 covers North Wales.
