Yorkshire Water tenders £9m generators hire and maintenance services contract

Yorkshire Water has gone out to tenders with a contract for hire and maintenance services for generators and UPS systems worth an estimated £9 million.

The contract covers the supply, maintenance/repair and hire of generator sets, UPS, diesel pumps and associated equipment across the Yorkshire Water region.

Scope of services include:

  • proactive service and maintenance of generator sets, UPS and diesel pumps as per issued schedule of planned works (including inspection of fuel storage and maintenance of low voltage circuit breakers);
  • reactive repairs to any generator assets;
  • hire of standby generators and associated equipment;
  • out of hours availability and emergency callout;
  • refuelling;
  • supply of new UPS.

Initial contract term is three year, with a further three year extension option.
