Source for Business has been awarded a £2.14 million water and waste water retail contract with Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest and best known NHS trusts in the country.
Source for Business is the national trading brand for Pennon Water Services which had previously provided water services to the Trust.
The firm was awarded the retail contract for both services after a competitive process that saw the retailer focus on its expertise in water efficiency and the cost savings it could help the Trust to achieve.
Richard Hales, Energy and Sustainability Manager (Estates and Facilities Management) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust commented:
“We have been through a comprehensive process of understanding the newly deregulated water sector. Following a rigorous procurement exercise we are very happy to have secured Source for Business as our water and waste water services retailer. Following recent contract wins with the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust and BMI Healthcare, the latest win adds to Source for Business’ growing reputation as a specialist in the healthcare sector.
