Anglian Water tenders £1.6m ozone plant contract

Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the repair and maintenance of ozone generators worth an estimated £1.6 million.

The contract covers the inspection, repair and maintenance of the water company’s ozone plant.

The successful supplier will be required to:

  • undertake an initial condition report of all the systems;
  • compile a recommendations report in a priority order;
  • carry out the servicing, maintenance replacement of plant items as identified within the condition reports, and any other maintenance visits

Servicing will be undertaken based on Anglian Water’s 5-year service schedule for its insurance inspections. The supplier will also be required to provide a minimum next day emergency call-out service.
