Southern Water has gone out to tender with a contract for geographic information systems replacement worth an estimated £1.5 million.
The water company is looking to replace its existing Geographic Information System with a supported GIS solution which will result in a partnership with Southern Water Services Ltd for GIS related services.
The contract covers the implementation of a GIS solution, licenses and support for 4 years. There is also an option to potentially extend the agreement for a further 5 years with further 1 year renewals.
