Scottish Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the repair and maintenance services of electrical and mechanical building installations worth up to £80 million.
The water company is looking for service providers to work closely with Scottish Water to provide a cost-effective technical and commercial solution for the provision of M&E inspection, repair and maintenance services. The Framework is divided into four regions and 11 Lots:
1. Motors and Gearboxes (Including Electric Motors and Rewinds);
2. Drives (including VSD's);
3. Specialist Process Control;
4. Blowers and Compressors;
5. Water Sludge Presses;
6. Waste Water Sludge Presses;
7. Actuator R&M;
8. Valves R&M;
9. Electrical Distribution Equipment;
10. Screw Pumps;
11. Screens.
Estimated total value is £80 million - start date for the framework agreement is 1st June 2017 with a completion date of 31st May 2021. The contract includes four further one year extension options.
