Yorkshire Water awards £7m CHP repair and maintenance AMP6 contract

Yorkshire Water has awarded a  repair and maintenance contract for CHP (Combined Heat and Power) engines worth around £7 million.

The contract, which covers multi support services and maintenance of CHP engines of multi –manufacturers was tenderd in 2 Lots.

Lot No: 1 which covers the repair and maintenance of Perkins, MAN and Guascor engines and is worth £5.49 million, has awarded to Ilkeston firm WB Power Services Ltd, one of two companies to bid for the Lot.

Three firms were in the bidding for Lot 2, which covers MWM and Guascor engines - Stockport-based Edina UK Ltd have been awarded the c£1.5 million contract.
