Anglian Water awards £7.5m tanker maintenance and refurb contract

Anglian Water has awarded a contract for the on-going maintenance and periodic refurbishment of its waste tanker fleet worth £7.5 million.

Three organisations were in the bidding for the AMP6 contract, which was divided into two Lots.

Solihull-based firm Whale Tankers Ltd won a contract for tanker refurbishment under Lot 1 worth £1.65 million, togerher with a contract under Lot 2 for on-going tanker maintenance worth £5.4 million.

 TIP Trailer Services UK Ltd was separately awarded a £ 450,000 contract for tanker refurbishment under Lot 1.
