United Utilities is seeking to establish a panel of framework partners for the design, development and hosting of business and customer facing mobile applications and web development services.
Suppliers will need to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams in an iterative, agile development process to produce high quality solutions.
The utility is looking for agile software consultants, bespoke software developers and UI/UX practitioners, delivering high performance digital products.
United Utilities said it wants to utilise innovative solutions that provide enterprise level scalable mobile and web solutions and strategies.
Successful suppliers will be required to work collaboratively to establish a strategy that chooses the right approach and the right technology, as well as an effective plan on how to deliver it. Interested companies will need to be experienced in and have the capability to offer services including:
- user research
- expert reviews
- prototyping and testing to provide a comprehensive end-to-end service
Services will cover initial consultancy, UI/UX design, development and test, launch, ongoing maintenance and the development of maintainable and effective infrastructure that is fully supportive of the chosen technology - .Net or Java.
Interested suppliers will first need to register their interest with United Utilities. Further information including supplier days will following at a future date, primarily with those who registered an interest.
