Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with a 5 year contract for scaffolding services during AMP6 worth an estimated £13 million.
The contract covers the provision of scaffolding services for the water company on a daily basis to provide access for the inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment.
Scaffolding may also be required to assist in the removal of heavy items or equipment from tight/enclosed spaces. The utility said it may also require scaffolding services to mitigate any H & S risks e.g. to provide temporary edge protection for working at height.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 2nd May 2016 – click here to access the tender documentation.
