Dwr Cymru Welsh Water has awarded a multi-million pound contract for ICT Outsourced Services which could be worth up to £120 million.
Welsh Water first went out to tender for the work at the end of December 2014, putting the estimated potential value of the contract in a range between £40 million to £120 million.
The tender said the contract would be for an initial service period of 5 years, with options to extend for up to a further 5 years, in incremental steps.
Scope of the contract includes:
- Data Centre Hosting Services
- Server and Storage Services
- Network Services
- Business Application Services
Bangalore- headquartered Infosys Limited has been awarded the contract – one of three companies who bid for the work. No information has been provided about the contract’s overall final value.
