Northern Ireland Water has gone out to tender with a construction project management services contract worth an estimated £1.5 million.
The professional services contract covers an upgrade planned for the water company’s Dungannon Wastewater Treatment Works at Moygashel, on the outskirts of Dungannon, Co Tyrone.
The existing works, which was completed in the early 1990's, receives a PE loading of 78942 for a PE flow of approximately 45 000 and was designed to cater for a PE of 60 000.
As part of its PC15 investment programme Northern Ireland Water is required to provide a replacement or upgraded wastewater treatment works to serve the existing catchment.
The water company intends to appoint one Economic Operator to the Contract to manage delivery of the planning, enabling works, detailed design, construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
Estimated total value of the contract is put at £1.5 million- time limit for receipt of requests for documents or for accessing documents is 30th March2016.
