Scottish Water awards £12m concrete contract

Scottish Water has awarded a contract for the supply of precast concrete worth an estimated £12 million.

The framework will provide national coverage for the supply of precast drainage materials in Scotland. The tender consisted of 5Lots for the supply of the following materials:

  • concrete pipe
  • concrete junctions
  • manhole chamber, soakaways & cover slabs
  • box culverts
  • kerbs, channels & slabs

The contract covers a potential 12 year contracting period from 2015 to 2026.

Glasgow-based Keyline Utilities has won the contract - one of six companies who were in the bidding.
