Welsh Water tenders £7.5m AMP6 Capital Delivery support contract

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water has gone out to tender with a contract worth between £3 million and £7 million over a three year period for the provision of Cost Management and Forensic Cost and Fraud Audit Services.

The services for the DCC Capital Delivery Alliance and in-house Capital Maintenance Engineering Team are intended to provide support and assurance on the delivery of the capital programme.

Services under the contract have been split into 2 Lots - Lot 1 is for Cost Management Services with an estimated annual value of £700,000, while Lot 2 for Forensic Cost and Audit Services is worth £300,000.

Welsh Water said that the Services will be undertaken by separate organisations in order to ensure appropriate scrutiny and oversight.

The contract will run for an initial 3 year period with options to extend for a further 4 years (2+2).

The work also has the potential to extend into operational or other DCC cost areas.

Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 11th January 2016 – click here to access the tender documentation.
