United Utilities tenders £65m contract for 32km water mains

United Utilities has gone out to tender with a contract for a 32 kilometer water mains between  Bridge End and the Williams Gate Raw Water Aqueduct potentially worth up to £65 million.

The contract is for the detailed design, construction and commissioning of approximately 32 km of large diameter twin water mains in the West Cumbria region. Estimated value is put at between £45 million to £65 million.
