Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP6 contract for screens and screens handling worth an estimated £10 million.
The water company is looking to appoint a number of suppliers to the framework agreement which will run for five years with a further five year extension option. Starting date for the framework is 1st December 2015 with a completion date of 1st December 2020.
Estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement is put at between £ 5 million to £10 million.
Southern Water said the framework will be awarded under several lots due to the complexity of the services required.
Lots for the Screens and Handling Framework are as follows:
- Lot 1 Supply and/or Installation of Combined Sewage Screens and Spares and associated spares,
- Lot 2 Supply and/or Installation of Fine Screens and Spares and associated spares,
- Lot 3 Supply and/or Installation of Band Screens and Spares and associated spares,
- Lot 4 Supply and/or Installation of Screens Handling Washer Compactors and associated spares,
- Lot 5 Supply of Screens and Screen Handling Spares only,
- Lot 6 Maintenance and Renovation of existing Screens equipment.
