Yorkshire Water has gone out to tender with a contract for waste water sludge cake handling on sites worth up to £3.5 million in total.
The water company is looking to appoint up to four suppliers to the AMP6 framework agreement, which will run for three years with a renewal option.
Successful contractors will be required to provide resources - men and machines - to handle sewage sludge cake produced on sites within the Yorkshire region. The contract covers a range of services on the sites, including the operation of equipment, movement of sludge cake on-site, mixing of sludge cake with bulking agents or products and loading of vehicles to enable contractors to move material off-site.
The sites will be bundled geographically into lots.
Time limit for receipt of requests for documents or for accessing documents is 13th October 2015.
