The Ministry of Defence has gone out to tender with a contract for maintenance dredging on the South Coast worth between £4 million to £7.5 million.
Procurement of the contract is being managed by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation arm of the MOD. The contract, which runs for four years, involves maintenance dredging work at HMNB Devonport and HMNB Portsmouth.
The MOD is looking to invite between 3 to 5 suppliers to tender for the work.
Time limit for receipt of requests for documents or for accessing documents is 31st July, with a separate time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate of 17th August.
Suppliers interested in working with the Ministry of Defence must be registered on the MOD Supplier Information Database (SID) Register, available at www.contracts.mod.uk. The MOD SID is a database of active and potential suppliers available to all MOD and UK Defence procurement personnel, and is the main supplier database of MOD Procurement organisations.
