Anglian Water has gone out to tender with a contract for industrial inspection services during AMP6 worth an estimated £35 million.
The water company is looking to appoint up to 3 suppliers to the framework agreement which will run for three years initially with the option of a possible two year extension period.
The service needed is for the inspection of industrial and commercial premises for compliance against the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations or any other associated risks to water quality.
The scope of the tender is for the inspection of up to 50,000 properties over the period across the Anglian Water region - around 10,000 commercial and industrial properties per annum.
The contract is particularly clear that it is vital that any appointments under the contract are kept as there is a requirement to pay a GSS (Guaranteed Standards of Service) payment if the appointment is not kept, with suppliers invoiced for any GSS payments incurred. Any failures may also have a direct impact on the SIM ODI (Operational Delivery Incentives) measure, which measures customer satisfaction.
Time limit for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 17th June – click here to access the tender documentation.
