Scottish Water tenders £8 milion access cover contract

Scottish Water has gone out to tender £8 milion with a contract for on road/off road access covers worth up to £8 million.

The water company is looking to appoint a maximum of four suppliers to the framework agreement, which could run for up to 6 years and is worth between £5 million to £8 million. The framework is for the supply of access covers for person and equipment access to pumping stations, storage tanks, CSO's and similar chambers.

The scope of supply is for design support, site survey (if required), manufacture, delivery and installation (where required) of access covers and associated Health and Safety features.

The contract is divided into two separate lots for on road and off road covers. Initial contract will run for two years, followed by four further 1 year extension options. Starting date will be 1st August with a target completion date of 31st July 2021.
