Anglian Water awards £3.5m AMP6 machinery repair and maintenance services contract

Anglian Water has awarded an AMP6 machinery repair and maintenance services contract with an estimated value of £3.5 million.

The contract covers the servicing and maintenance of diesel standby power and load shedding generators, together with remedial work on diesel standby power and load shedding generators.

The successful supplier wil also be required to conduct G59 tests and remedial work on mains synchronised generators, control panels and associated switchboards.

Seven companies were in the bidding for the work. The contract has been awarded to St. Helens-based firm Burtonwood Generators and Switchgear.
