Galliford Try plc, the housebuilding and construction group, has announced that its Integrated Solutions business, which has been part of the Group since the acquisition of Miller Construction, has been successfully appointed to the MoD's Next Generation Estates Contract (NGEC) Framework for Capital Works Projects in Scotland.
The framework is the second of six regional capital works frameworks being procured by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) on behalf of the MoD.
The four year framework is worth up to £250 million for projects with individual values of up to £12 million, and is extendable for a further three years. The programme involves developing and delivering projects across the infrastructure, maritime and rural assets that make up the Defence Estate in Scotland.
Galliford Try Executive Chairman Greg Fitzgerald said:
We are delighted to have secured this opportunity, and are confident in our expertise to meet the demanding requirements of this framework. Our demonstration of innovation and flexibility, as well as Galliford Try's heavy emphasis on sustainability and energy efficiency, will stand us in a good position to deliver efficiently for this specialised market."
