A new discussion paper published by Anglian Water on sustainable water allocation is calling for increased water and water rights trading by all water users – not simply the water companies.

Scottish MPs back Reservoirs (Scotland) Bill

Members of the Scottish Parliament have given their backing to the principles of the Reservoirs (Scotland) Bill following the Stage 1 debate in the Scottish Parliament.

The Government has this morning announced the start of the first review of the Feed in Tariffs (FITs) scheme for small scale low carbon electricity generation. As part of the review, the Government will undertake a short study into the take-up of FITs for farm based Anaerobic Digestion plants.

WWFDANUBENewly unveiled plans described as turning the Danube and Croatia’s other rivers into "little more than regulated canals" have been protested to the European Union by WWF, Croatian NGOs and EuroNatur.
