Yorkshire Water has awarded a contract for post office counter services to take customer payment for bills.
The pay station services contract covers the Collection of cash payments for water bills within convenience outlets with the use of Yorkshire Water payment cards and or Yorkshire Water’s Bar-Coded payment slip.
The contract, which is worth £6.6 million, has been awarded to Paypoint Plc and the Post Office – the only organisations who bid for the work.
