Stantec in the UK has appointed Mark Carlisle as operations director for its Ireland water business in support of its advancing growth within the sector.

With over 27 years’ experience in the water sector across UK and Ireland, prior to joining Stantec, he was director of water with operational and commercial responsibility for WSP’s regulated water business in UK and Ireland.
Mark Carlisle’s experience in the water sector encompasses delivering strategic planning, asset management, capital delivery and optimised operational water services to all the major UK and Ireland water companies and contracting partners. In conjunction with delivering river engineering, flooding and sustainable drainage programmes, supporting many UK local authorities and national agencies on transformational infrastructure schemes.

In his new role, Mark Carlisle will head up services and delivery for water and energy clients in Ireland with responsibility for overall business performance and securing new opportunities with clients.
