Manchester based start-up Olympos Water Ltd has applied to Ofwat for water supply and sewerage licences to operate in the retail business water market.
A synopsis of the company’s business plan says its ambition is to create a multi-utility provider that will occupya gap in the current market, offering commercial developers an integrated network design to retail supply service.
Olympos Water Ltd represents “the first step towards this vision” with the addition of gas, electricity and telecom retail services following within a 3-5 year period. The company was registered at Companies House on 23rd February 2018, together with Olympos Networks Ltd, Olympos Electricity Ltd, Olympos Gas Ltd, Olympos Telecommunications Ltd and Olympos Generation Ltd.
Two more companies - Olympos Group Ltd and Olympos Retail Ltd – were registered in May 2018.
