On the 26th April, WRc kicked off their 5th Innovation Event in the STEAM Museum in Swindon with an evening invitation only Awards Ceremony.

WRc guests saw 8 presentations from the water, waste and gas sector each give 5 minute pitches against the clock. WRc’s guests then interactively voted for the innovation that impressed them most.
The WRc Innovation Award 2016 winners were Weeding Technologies for their winning innovation Foamstream a totally non toxic product that controls unwanted weed, moss and algae growth on surfaces such as trickling biological filter beds.
Weeding Technologies were closely followed by 2 Highly Commended Winners - Strathkelvin Instruments with their ASP-Con and Hächler Umwelttechnik who presented on Modern Sewer Rehabilitation Robots.
