A new professional body has been launched in the UK for corporate responsibility and sustainability practitioners.
The Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (ICRS) will set standards for the profession, set out a code of conduct and provide training and development opportunities to enable CR professionals to further progress their skills and careers.
The Institute has been set up by the Corporate Responsibility Group (CRG) an established not for profit organisation now in its 26th year - members include many leading companies and household names, including Marks and Spencer, Alliance Boots and IBM. Most of the ICRS Founding Supporter organisations are also members of CRG.
Membership to the ICRS is open to everyone working in CR and sustainability who meets the membership criteria, with affiliate membership open to anyone with an interest in CR and sustainability.
