The deadline is fast approaching for submissions to Singapore International Water Week 2016 - the Water Convention 2016 Call for Papers will close on 15 August 2015.
The Water Convention provides a platform for water experts to share their solutions and practical experience. In 2014, the Water Convention received an overwhelming response of more than 500 submissions from over 50 countries, and the best papers were chosen for almost 350 oral and poster presentations over 40 Water Convention technical sessions. SIWW 2016 offers an outstanding opportunity to work and network with an audience comprising thousands of delegates from over 133 countries and regions across the water sector.
Water Convention 2016 is looking for innovative abstracts on the following five themes:
1. Delivering Water from Source to Tap
2. Effective and Efficient Wastewater Management
3. Water for Liveability and Resilience
4. Water Quality and Health
5. Water for Industries
Selected abstracts may be further reviewed and considered for publication in IWA's Journal of Water Practice and Technology.
The biennial Singapore International Water Week event gathers stakeholders from the global water industry to share best practices, showcase the latest technologies and tap business opportunities. SIWW is part of the strategic programme of the Singapore Government to grow the water industry and develop water technologies.
Singapore International Water Week Pte Ltd is a company set up by Singapore's Ministry of the Environment & Water Resources and PUB, Singapore's national water agency. The 7th Singapore International Water Week will be held in conjunction with the 5th World Cities Summit and the 3rd CleanEnviro Summit Singapore, from 10 - 14 July 2016.
