Ofwat actions for Thames Water following investment credit rating downgrade include developing revised AMP8 Business Plan by 28 August
Ofwat has today confirmed the implementation of commitments from Thames Water, effective immediately, to remedy its licence breach in losing its investment grade credit ratings - including a commitment to further develop a revised AMP8 Business Plan for the period 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2030 by 28 August 2024.
Thames Water - credit ratings downgrade reflects pressure from Ofwat's "challenging" PR19 Final Determination
Fitch Ratings has downgraded the credit ratings of Thames Water’s holding company Kemble Water Finance Ltd and revised its Issuer Default Rating to Negative, reflecting pressure on Kemble's and Thames Water’s financial profiles as a result of Ofwat’s challenging Final Determination on the company’s AMP7 business plan.
