The London Assembly has today set out a number of concerns about Thames Water’s proposal for a new tunnel to reduce the amount of untreated sewage flowing into the River Thames each year.

James Stewart, head of Infrastructure UK (IUK) at HM Treasury, will step down from his role in February.

EUR0 55 million boost for water in Syria

The European Investment Bank has signed a EUR 55m finance agreement for the development of modern water supply, wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure in North-Western Syria.

Water UK, the body that represents all UK water and wastewater service suppliers at national and European level, has published its response to Defra’s consultation on developing an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Framework.
