The Utility Regulator for the water and sewerage industry in Northern Ireland has welcomed the launch of NI Water’s public information campaign, which provides advice to consumers on steps they can take to ensure a continuous water supply over the winter period.

Following the replacement of 1,400 miles of worn-out Victorian pipes in London, leakage is now at the lowest level in Thames Water’s history, at 600m litres per day across its 20,000-mile network of mains.
