The Water Industry Commission for Scotland (WICS) has announced the appointment of David Satti as its new permanent CEO, following a competitive recruitment process.
Satti brings extensive experience in economic regulation and finance, with previous roles in both the regulatory and investment sectors. He formerly served as WICS’ Director of Strategy, leading work on the efficiency of Scottish Water’s £2.5 billion investment programme and long-term infrastructure planning. In addition to his regulatory experience, He also worked as an equity analyst at a privately owned asset management firm, analysing and investing in businesses globally.
David Satti has served as WICS’ interim CEO since March 2024 and has successfully guided the organisation through the early stages of significant organisational change.
