FLOODED ROAD  CAR EADozens of flood warnings still remain in place around the UK and thousands of homes are still without power in Scotland in the wake of Storm Gerrit.

GEOSMART FLOOD ANALYTICSA new report has found 9 million UK homes are at risk of flooding, of which 1.3 million at risk from groundwater, according to pioneering new analysis.

Environment Agency genericThis week Environment Agency teams in East Anglia and Lincolnshire have been reflecting on the 10th anniversary of the 2013 floods. On December 5, 2013 a large storm coupled with high tides generated a coastal surge along the whole of the east coast of England. In some areas the tides were higher than those in the devastating floods of 1953.
